Manufacturers like Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, LG and more have been carving out unique gizmos to ward off redundant competition. Keeping up with the fierce competition, HTC has partnered with Telstra to allure users across Australia with its HD7 smartphone.

Users can watch their most liked videos, images and movies on the 4.3-inch display screen which is capable of delivering 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Powered by the Windows Phone 7 operating system, the newest entrant helps owners capture memorable moments using the incorporated 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash.

The HTC HD7 continues along this tradition with its focus on providing the ultimate multimedia experience coupled with a nice simple user interface and access to a broad range of useful applications.”
Besides Xbox Live, the handset comes along with Music and Videos Hub to help mobile buffs enjoy custom playlists, radio and podcasts. Users who always travel from one to another can listen to their favorite music collection with ease as the unit sports the HTC Surround Sound technology.

The HTC Sense with HTC Hub delights many with location aware HTC Sense tile with weather as well as stocks, weather, flashlight, calculator, notes, sound enhancer, photo enhancer and convertor. HTC HD7S hands-on

HTC's HD7 was certainly one of the most handsome devices to be launched back at Windows Phone 7's retail introduction late last year -- and really, when you take the HD2's heritage as your starting point, it's hard to go wrong. Of course, in the last year and a half, mobile display technology has advanced by leaps and bounds -- and the original HD7 was using nothing more than a standard, old-school TFT LCD with less-than-perfect contrast and viewing angle specs. Well, that's where the HD7S comes into play: the "S" in the name presumably stands for Super LCD, the newer type of display that HTC's been using on recent 4.3-inch models like the Thunderbolt. It's quite pretty, but otherwise, it's the same HD7 as usual -- and really, considering how nice this hardware is, that's just alright by us. The phone also comes with the so-called "NoDo" update of Windows Phone 7 preinstalled, a fact we were able to verify with a quick look of the version number being reported in system settings. Check it out in the gallery!

LG Thrill 4G and HTC HD7S are new phones for AT&T US

Keep in mind that in this case 4G refers to HSPA+ 21Mbps, not the real-deal LTE. Still we guess there will be many people willing to buy either.

The two smartphones are also getting new names. HTC HD7 gets an "S" to its name - HTC HD7S. And the LG Optimus 3D will be LG Thrill 4G. Pretty much nothing else is changed.

The HD7S has the same 4.3-inch LCD display, 5 megapixel snapper and Windows Phone 7 OS, as highlights.

The LG Thrill 4G has the same 4.3-inch stereoscopic display, dual-core 1GHz processor, Android 2.2 and dual 5-megapixel camera with 3D capturing capabilities both in stills and video. The LG features 1080p output regular video and 720p 3D video.

With the LG Thrill 4G AT&T will also debut the LG 3D Space, which will have 3D content, such as games, video and images.

It isn't quite sure whether the 3D Space will be a service only through AT&T or it will be available worldwide.
HTC's HD7S will be coming in the weeks to follow, while the LG Thrill 4G will be released by AT&T in the months to come. Exact dates aren't given though.
