Nokia T7-00 with Symbian^3 Leaked

Finnish handset maker Nokia has accidentally spilled the evidence of working on yet another Symbian^3 based phone - Nokia T7-00. Not really a tablet but yet another smartphone aimed a different segment and might come with different branding. MobileGuruji Blogger spotted the listing of Nokia T7-00 mobile phone via the OVI Publishing Tools. At this moment, all we can say is that the new T7-00 appears to be slotted somewhere between N8, E7 and upcoming X7.

Nokia already has new smartphone series with following initials - N, X, C and E. Now looks like Finnish mobile phone maker will introduce new T-Series (Nothing to do with Bhooshan or Gulshan Kumar) of smartphones. According to the reported OVI Publishing Tools listing, the new T7-00 will run Symbian^3 version of mobile OS. The smartphone is listed to have 360x640 screen resolution which is same in N8, X7, C7 and C6-01 handsets. So I presume it will come with 3.5-inch to 4-inch touchscreen display.

Details about the said Nokia T7-00 are very less and no photos have been spotted online. Nokia has promised to introduce more handsets this year and hence we ll patiently wait for this new T-series handset.

Mobiado’s unique CPT002 Aston Martin concept phone

Glancing over the latest addition to jaw-dropping mobile concepts will unremittingly make elegance admirers say ‘luxury defined.’ All adjusted to spellbind people who are agog about ostentatious devices, Mobiado recently shed some light on its new CPT002 Aston Martin Concept Phone.

The new concept dexterously merges existing technology and software with state-of-the-art advances in electronics to fabricate a realistic vision of luxury mobile phones. Inspired by the Aston Martin vehicle, the CPT002 features the capability to automatically unlock the doors as the user approaches.

In addition to this, it also connects directly to the car display while resting inside the pocket. The integrated software conjugates the vehicle GPS rendering an enhanced level of social network experience. By taking advantage of its Foursquare, users can get a glimpse of their current location as well as the location of their friends and nearby venues, all incorporated on a GPS map of the Aston Martin display.

Users can also benefit from the already set cameras in order to update Facebook and Twitter with pictures, videos, and information pertaining to passing cities, landmarks during road trips. Updating social sites in real time gets possible too.

During unfortunate episodes, the vehicle Airbag will receive accelerometer information from the CPT002 in the driver’s pocket. This way, the information about the driver’s acceleration movement will be provided through the readings.

The most highlighted aspect of CPT002 emerges to be the solid sapphire crystal, see-through capacitive touchscreen. The sides of the model have been further made of platinum to render a classic appearance.
The new CPT002 Aston Martin concept phone will be displayed at this year’s BaselWorld.

Mobiado and Aston Martin show transparent droid phone concept

Mobiado, the luxury phone maker, and Aston Martin, the luxury car maker, are in cahoots, trying to co-create phones. The first prototype they've shown is a stunning transparent Android phone. No, don't go back to read that again, check out the concept renders - they are even more mind-blowing.

The Mobiado concept phone is called CTP002 is basically one big, transparent sapphire glass with two titanium edges on the left and right. The glass is a color capacitive touchscreen. We know it's only a concept and from a technical standpoint it seems all but impossible, but the Mobiado CTP002 is a joy to behold.

Still, Mobiado's plan to cram in the SIM card slot a chipset that's powerful enough to run Android and a battery with enough juice for the phone to run more than a minute is science fiction with today's technology.
But not having access to the technology of tomorrow doesn't mean you can't plan to show off today. Here's what Mobiado envisions you can do if you had the CTP002 and an Aston Martin.

The phone will connect with the car and its display. The car display will show a map with all local venues and your friends from Foursquare. The cameras integrated into the car can be set to snap a photo periodically and post it on Facebook or Twitter (nothing classier than telling the Internet how rich you are) and the CTP002's accelerometer will track the drivers body in case of a collision, giving the car's airbags better information on how to react.

Well, these things sound like a thirteen-year-old daydreaming (especially trusting a phone with something as important as airbag deployment) but having a transparent phone like the Mobiado CTP002 would be super cool. Fingers crossed they do manage to go beyond the concept phase.

By the way, the Mobiado CTP002 concept will be shown off at BaselWorld, the world watch and jewelry show in Switzerland. Good to know in case you're nearby.
