Ed Hardy headphones hope to ink up your ears

Celebrity headphone endorsements are very à la mode right now, and we've seen Ed Hardy's trademark tattoo stylings defacing gadgetry before, so, if you were the one lamenting the glaring omission that was Hardy-branded cans, then he obviously got your letter. The new "Stereo" range evidently refers to the two designs available thus far: Skull and Bones for the over-ears ($66), while your in-ears get some Tiger power ($29). The in-ears also feature...

AT&T-branded Nokia Ace possibly leaked in holiday card

The grain of salt we're taking this with is roughly boulder-sized but, we have an image of what may very well be the AT&T Nokia Ace -- the rumored LTE-sporting Windows Phone from the Finnish phone maker. It seems that someone sent out a holiday greeting featuring a phone that looks a heck of a lot like the Lumia 800, except it prominently features a Ma-Bell logo, a 4G icon and what appears to be a front facing camera. Of course, what has also...

While its rumored release date has come and gone, non-functional models such as this are commonly offered to consumers in a retail setting to poke and prod to their heart's content. Nonetheless, the hands-on offers a few interesting details, such as a soft touch backside and insight into the redesigned...

1 million Galaxy Notes shipped worldwide, US fans throw money at their screens

The Galaxy Note, Samsung's unconventional powerhouse, has managed to ship 1 million units in under two months. While eager US customers still wait for the 5.3-inch tabletphone hybrid to arrive on their shores, the Galaxy Note has apparently struck a chord in Europe and Asia. Verzo Kinzo unboxing and impressions (video)

Yes, the Verzo Kinzo is real! That Americano-Czech Android smartphone with mid-range specs that went on sale in November with a ludicrous $459 price tag only to be hastily relaunched earlier this month for a slightly more digestible $359 is not a giant farce. (Well, maybe it is.) It left the ethereal world of rendered computer graphics and landed in our mitts just in time for the holidays. To be specific, we received the pricier $384 Verzo Kinzo...

The morning after: PlayStation Vita sales go cold during first full week in Japan

It's hard to set much store by early sales performance, particularly after the evergreen 3DS faced such a rocky road. Nevertheless, the Vita's latest stats do look disappointing for such a highly anticipated -- not to mention high-quality -- console: after shifting a remarkable 321,000 units during its first two days on sale in Japan, it could only muster 72,500 in the whole week between December 19th and Christmas Day. In comparison, the PS3 sold...

Kindle Fire is shown running Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Ice Cream Sandwich stays cool, even on a Fire.(Credit:Screenshot by Eric Mack / CNET)Apparently the Kindle Fire won't melt Android Ice Cream Sandwich, at least that's what I took from a video showing Android 4.0 running on the Amazon tablet.A very early version of a ROM based on CyanogenMod 9 for the Fire has been getting its tires kicked over on the XDA developers forum. Forum user Jackpotclavin released a pre-alpha of the ROM as a sort of Christmas...

Sonim Armor XP3400(Credit:C Spire)Perhaps a name change can give a company a new life.Indeed, that appears to have been the case for C Spire, the wireless carrier formerly known as Cellular South. But since the identity switch, it has made some bold handset moves.First C Spire picked up the iPhone 4S and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, and now it is...

These eco-friendly 'green' earbuds deliver oodles of detail

Thinksound's awesome little ts02 in-ear headphones($100) knocked me out in March, so I was eager to hear the company's new model, the ms01.It doesn't look a whole lot different than the ts02, but that's not a bad thing. Both models are smaller and more comfortable than most in-ears, and both block a good amount of external noise. Almost as much as a noise-canceling headphone, and unlike NC models, the ms01 doesn't run on batteries.Thinksound ms01...

M-Edge suit accuses Amazon of corporate bullying, patent infringement over Kindle cases

Case maker M-Edge filed suit with a Maryland court last week accusing Amazon of "unlawful corporate bullying" and patent infringement relating to the company's line of Kindle cases.
